Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (review)

(NO SPOILERS)

7/15/2011 Was the release of the part of Deathly Hallows with the tag line. "It all Ends"  It felt like it was the end of a long era, saying the final goodbyes to the world that was/has been a huge part of my life, left an empty sad feeling inside. After following Harry's adventures, many of us were left wanting more... the bright light at the end of a tunnel seems Rowling has that much more to offer. . This year was the rebirth of all the magic many of us fell in love with. First the Cursed Child came out July 30th & then that brings me to Nov. 18, 2016 with the release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
Here are my thoughts on the extension of the wizarding world with the newest film. Fantastic Beasts offers a mesmerizing return to the Potterverse, full of magically enticing charm making it an incredible journey from beginning to end. Even though it takes place in the wizarding universe, it stands apart from Harry Potter.  With its very own story, that  I personally found rather sweet & endearing. (Not really sure what film people watched when I hear it did not have a plot)

From the first moment  the movie places you on a journey with great visuals, very recognizable music and great performances.....
Eddie Redmayne as Newt is incredibly completely awkward yet totally lovable. His kindness showed in abundance in how he treats his animals.
Dan Folger as Jacob Shines brighter than all as the muggle suddenly tossed into all the wonder that he never knew existed. I would have to say he is the easiest to relate to and one that most will fall in love with. To me he mirrors the sense of marvel that normally is only known to children. (wide eyed and in awe of the world with out judgment)
It also drops quite a few hints that tie in nicely with the stories that we know, as well as serving to set up the next films, that connects Dumbledore's past with Grindelwald.
All in all, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is a solid and visually stunning movie that I highly suggest seeing.

OMG NO WAY!

Yeah that is right after 4 years of not blogging at all or sporadic posting. I have decided to come back and try to restart this thing up. To many awesome geektastical things going on in the world not to get moving on things again. First new post incoming shortly WOOT!!!!

But first thing is first going through the older stuff and deleting a few things of political nature that I no long wish to have on here nor do I wish to engage in those types of discussions.

Video Games, Books, Films, Being a mom and all things Simply Geektastic from here on out *hugs*
